About Mrs. Bennett-Smith

     I was born and raised in Michigan. I lived in Arizona for 6 years, during middle school and high school. I graduated from Deer Valley H.S. in Glendale, AZ. in 1989. I graduated from UTA in 1995 with degree in Interdisciplanary Studies. I got my teaching certificate upon graduation. I have been teaching 2nd grade since Alice D. Contreras opened up (1999). I am happily married to Michael Smith since 1997. We have 3 wonderful children together. Quinn was born in 2001, Erin was born in 2003, and Ian was born in 2005. We have a beautiful home in Sendera Ranch in Haslet, Tx. I am the Outdoor coordinator of our Outdoor Learning Environment. I love teaching and being outdoors as much as possible! This year we will do many fabulous things and you will learn many exciting new things!
