About Your Teacher

 

Experience:  I've taught at Alice D. Contreras since the first day it opened in August 2000. I started by teaching fifth grade, then third grade, and presently, first grade. This is my twelfth year of teaching for FWISD. I also teach Poetry and Garden Club for our 21st Century After School Program.
 
Education:  I am a graduate of Tarleton State University in Stephenville,Texas. I have ESL , Special Education, and GT Certifications.
