I am so happy to have each of your children in my class! We have an exciting year to come and I am honored to be a part of each students' growth and development.

This is my third year teaching and I am so happy to be a part of the Dolores Huerta team.  My first two years I was a special education teacher at Dolores Huerta and Lily B. Clayton Elem.  I have a B.S. in Social Work from TCU and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Tulane Univeristy in New Orealns, LA.  I made the transition to teaching after working two years as a school social worker and falling in love with the school setting and seeing students succeed.  I love my job!  I strive to make my students feel safe, cared for and reach goals.
