Ms. Debbie Pearson

Welcome to Ms. Pearson's class website!

I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child! I am planning now for a wonderful year to come! We have great Reading and Math Programs and we enjoy technology like computer time and our LARGE Promethean Board for the whole class.

I have been teaching Kindergarten for over 30 years and have been at Western Hills Primary since we opened the school in 2000. I love teaching 5 year olds to love reading.

I will be expecting a lot from your child to have a successful year.  I welcome your support in making this year a success. There will be many ways you can help your child this year.

SPECIAL NOTE:  AS YOU MAY HAVE HEARD ME SAY TO YOU, WE HAVE 34 CHILDREN IN CLASS RIGHT NOW.  WE WILL BE GETTING 2 NEW TEACHERS SOON AND WE WILL HAVE TO "LEVEL" THE CLASSES DOWN TO 22 OR 24 IN EACH CLASS.  YOU WILL RECEIVE A LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL IF YOUR CHILD WILL BE MOVING TO A NEW CLASS.  PLEASE BE PATIENT--WE ARE WAITING FOR ALL NUMBERS ACROSS THE DISTRICT BEFORE WE GET  NEW TEACHERS. SOME CLASSES ACROSS THE DISTRICT ARE TOO SMALL, AND A TEACHER WILL HAVE TO COME FROM THAT SCHOOL TO OUR SCHOOL.

Important Information

Please remember to sign your childs  FOLDER every night!
This will have homework, important notes, notes to be signed and your child's behavior for the day.

If you ever have any questions, please do not
hesitate to contact me. My planning period is from 10:55-11:35 every morning or we can make an advance appointment for after school.
